Intuit's Desktop product availability and support rules have changed over time and differ by edition. This post explains what customers should verify instead of making blanket claims that every Desktop product is ending.
An announcement that new sales of a specific Desktop edition have ended does not mean every existing license immediately stops working. Availability, connected services and support are separate questions determined by edition and contract terms.
Pro Plus, Premier Plus, Mac Plus and Enterprise have not followed identical sales policies. Check current Intuit notices relevant to your edition, U.S. region and subscription period before planning upgrades or renewals.
Maintain usable company-file backups, document integrations and review a migration timeline ahead of any service end dates. If you depend on payroll or bank feeds, verify their service requirements separately.
